Hannah joined MTS in 2018. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from San Diego State University. During undergraduate she volunteered for several organizations advocating for the protection of coastal waters and worked in marine and global change laboratories. She was PADI certified in 2012, while volunteering on a marine conservation program in Cambodia and later gained an AAUS Scientific Diving certification. She dove with SDSU's Coastal Marine Laboratory for two years, studying local marine habitats. After graduation, she participated on a research cruise, monitoring the California Current Ecosystem (a collaborative effort by Scripps, NOAA and CDFW). Hannah's dedication to studying and preserving the ocean grows every day and she loves the various adventures MTS offers. Outside of work, you will likely find her surfing or in the water in some form.
